Aurora Aerospace Combat Elements are modular units (as are the Capital Command, Surface Combat and Medical Corps Elements) that combine as needed for individual missions and task force assignments.  Aurora ACEs consist of Fighter, Strike, Electronic Warfare, C2ISR, Support and Training units.
