The Communications Agency has twofold responsibilities.

Primarily, its purpose is to ensure the smooth and secure flow of information throughout the Republic. Communications handles encryption, frequency assignments, new installations and ensures the continued operation of Auroran communications posts that have none of the absolutely astounding comm station failures endemic to UEE comms -- at least at the level they are maintained in the less important systems.

Secondarily, Communications handles all official announcements, audio/visual requests, technical and brochure copy, press conferences, etc.
